To make Pantry kit:
Mix sauce packet ingredients together in a small bowl.
Label a small sized baggie and pour sauce mix. Put pasta or rice into a quart sized jar or a large baggie. I use quart jars. For my personal preference I use jars. Glass jars are easier to keep pests from chewing through the baggies and they store better on my shelves. Put the sauce packet inside the baggie or jar. For taco helper also place a can of diced tomatoes along side of the jar or baggie so it’s handy to grab everything from your pantry when it’s time to cook.
Scew on the band and lid on jars for short term storage. For longer storage, six months or so, you can vacuum seal the lids. Place baggie kits in a storage box so they don’t float around on your shelf. Using a jar will eliminate this. Tape a copy of the recipe to the jar or baggie.
Store in pantry till ready to cook.
